when will b the gd pi shortlist be published nd when r they goin 2 b held tentativly

what is the no. of calls and what is acceptance ratio

and what is the placement scene this year

Hi

By the end of this mnth u can expect the list of GD/PI calls, it will be put up in the college website and college notice board. Last yr. the GD/PI was held btwn Mar 20-22 and the results were declared on 31st March. Last yr. for a batch of 90 they gave away a total of 280 calls. With ur score, the conversion becomes easy with a descent performance in GD & Extempore. The placement 4 04-06 batch was over by the first week of Dec. with an avr. of 3.80 L with many cos. still calling 4 Dates.

hey my cat percentile is 77 with 90 in va 54 in qa and 45 in di what r my chances of gtng a call

Actually i have started a new thread "IISWBM Queries" u can post ur queries there.

Last yr. the cut off was around 80 but with most of the students with 90+ CAT scores. The Placements for the 2nd yr. batch was over within the first week of Dec. well before others started. No preference as such 4 West Bengalis, But the reason behind this is most of the students who apply here are someway related to West Bengal. The Institute recently went Wi-Fi and all the first yr. students are provided with Laptops. The only problem is we don'thave a residential campus and the college is not well promoted. I Hope i was able 2 answer u...

I think u should get a call(Outside Chance) moreover there is no sectional cut-off. But the second round ( i.e. Final Conversion) is going 2 be tough in ur case.

Ur chances of being called for GD/PI is very high 'coz though ur %ile is a bit less still ur work ex will help. By the end of this mnth u can expect the list 2 come out.
