hi ppl,

sorry cud not post earlier. through with gdpi on 11th at noida. there were only 28 candidtes out of 47. anyway gud for us. first of all, we were given forms to fill sme info like contact nos then cat score cards (photocopy) collected . then informal interaction session for 10 mnts. then 3 groups were made n gd started. I was in first batch and two panel members (nice ppl) were there from NIBM.

gd topic- internet has significant impact on children.

so the topic was easy and i had good batch so all spoke well and after some time running out of words. overall, was good.

pi- avrg pi time was 15 mnts. i hve hotel mngt tourism background and bpo work exp. so they said my profile doesnt suit them. but i insisted my interest in banking and then they showered questns on banking,was able to answer most of them luckily. banking scenario, tourism scenario, etc. Two ppl (very cool) in panels, one from NIBM and other from OBC.

lets see what happens........

@ Nitin Sir,thnk god finally somebody responded...............please carry on the good work.kindly elaborate the chances of taking your NIBM diploma to corporate finance or hardcore finance.............or is it only significant and confined to banking sector's finance only?

first..i am Nitin not Nitin sir.....and after this course u wud initially be confined to banking sector..mainly in the areas of treasury,risk and forex...and this is hardcore finance... after astint in a bank u cud move to other corporates...most of my seniors have done it....its better to start a finance career in a bank rather than a corporate as u learn a lot in a bank compared to a corporate..... so all the best to those who have their interview..be calm and confident....

those who have their interviews in mumbai...i will probably meet u guys that day....as my office is also at WTC......
