WOW..... we've got a few 55'ers in CAT 2005.... n this thread reads CAT2006 preparations.....
@ hariskaimal .n srajasekhar .dudes...uve got gr8 score man.....i bet u wud easily end up at any of the TOP 10 B schools...maybe ..maybe not the IIM's..
ppl the exam season is not yet over..i mean we still have the XAT on Jan 8th.. ATB to all the people takin it up...
BTW....I will join u guys in the wake of prep for CAT 2006 after I am kicked out from the XAT as well....

Just great to c a thread for chennai folks.wud like to contribute to it.
I gave my cat in 2004.got 82%le.Just started preparing for cat 2006.I m employed in verizon for the past 3 months.I think we shd get hold of the previous cat papers and solve them.tat ll give us sum confidence in our build up.Is there any book stall here where we can get them.Also it ll b g8 if we can
get sum good fiction and nonfiction stuff tat ll help in vocab and rc preparation..Do suggest book stalls...I personally feel we can study on our own with material frm time or ims or cl.No need to join any institute.Cmon folks.lets do it.lets crack the CAT

howz the preparation for CAT 2006 going on,was quiet busy these days preparing for XAT so couldnt log in and chk the forum,y dont anyone prepare a schedule for CAT 2006 and post it here,so that every1 can follow the schedule and prepare collectively.

i am taking cat next year. i feel very confident now. i joined TIME in july. the classess are ok except a few....
i want to get ims material... where can i get it.....please help me soon.....

guys i gave cat 05 but scoring 46 odd . so writing 06. but do ya all feel it is necessary to start this early. i feel tht by starting this early u wont b able to keep the focus right thru the year. so chill out now n start b4 say 6 or 7 months.
i was with Time n seeing the previous posts i hav a thin to add.
last year all time aimcats were comparitively tough than all other institutes like ims cl etc. beleive me i wrote all of them

hullo ppl...I'm new to PG and also am gonna take the CAT for the first time..can anyone suggest which institute is good?One more thing I would like to know is where can we get TIME,IMS material?
I've seen some ppl with good scores in CAT-2005 posting here...hope that they guide me in this collective pursuit...
As far as my plans r concerned...I think that its better to start prep now and attend some classes till May...and then start takin SIMCATs or AIMCATs...
