We are going to see some real action in that Mock CATS start thread soon.Instead of having a common thread, Can we be more specific.My suggestion is Go for the main thread Mock CATS.Sub threads are

1)strategies & Stuff

2)TIME

3)IMS

4)CF

5)CL

etcc... so that the students taking correspoding instis can discuss and others can peep in.What u say

Um.. Nice idea there.. But I haven't seen scores of any other Mocks other than TIME yet on the forum. Even the folks who have taken TIME are less.

As a matter of fact, I guess every Mock should have its own thread. So starting from the next Mock, be it TIME/CF/ etc etc , lets all open individual threads. That should be helpful to everyone and discussions can be more meaningful.

Anyone took CF Free Mock CAT?They are offering it for free on Sundays.I took it on June 8th.My AIrank was 20

as more and more students took it now the rank has reached 80

.It will be a goodway to benchmark our prep.What u say, mates?

Not sure abt that Mandeep...cos' last time the timings of mock cats of TIME were from 2:30 to 4:30...though not sure abt it this time.....guess you can can call up and confirm at any of the centre...

The Mock CAT details of various institutes are listed below.

IMS - No Open scheme for non IMS students

(Info from Chennai centre)
-Open to all IMS students (My friends from now on

)

***No of people will be less this year as many people join IMS to take Mocks only

TIME - 1800 for 18 Mock CATs
-1200 if you are a previous TIME student

-Option for 10 Mocks as well as 5 mocks which costs 750,450+
*** TIME mocks are fundoo w r t DI and Quant.But verbal std is pretty
low.RC questions are direct
****No of people may be high this year If IMS doesnt give the TEST SERIES option

CL -2000 for 8 Al Mocks + 10 FLT's + papers of other institutes

-No other options
****Web analysis is really good

With IMS SimCats open to all, I think, it simulates the CAT better. How about Career launcher and Career forum tests

PT(www.ptindia.com) gives 13 Mock CATs. But it is mainly concentrated in northern India. It doesn't even have any center in southern part. But with 800/- U can get all 13 and try them at home. They won't give AIR but U can judge ur performance on the net. I am planning to take it as I've heard their Std is pretty goood.
In any case IMS and TIME are the best in business.
