Also, I have heard that there is a common GD/PI for people who have been shortlisted for both the courses - PGDM and PGDCM.
One more thing - the ATM sample paper will be sent only to the candidates shortlisted for the GD/PI.So I guess there is no point in bothering about it at the moment.

Hi Akshat,

First of all there is no separate cutoff for PGDCM. If you get a PGDM call you will also get a PGDCM call. The differentiation in the selection procedure of the 2 is only through the ATM (held after the calls are out).

To predict a percentile for quant for both (DCM and DM) would be difficult as many other things go into getting an interview call. It could be from 90%ile (if other sections are good) to 99%ile (but again these are just plain guesses and should not be taken verbatim). Although an overall of 99%ile will give you a great chance of an overall call. All this cutoff thing tht I have mentioned is applicable to most IIMs and not just IIMC.

Yes the G/PI is common for the 2 programs and the ATM is something that should be on your mind only after you get the interview call.

Though I am not the authority to comment on this, I called up IIMC office few days ago. The person on the other side told that those ppl who have not darkened the circle can still apply and I did likewise.

Take care.

That pretty much sums it up. Yes u can still apply to the PGDCM course even without having darkened the circle against it in the CAT form.

Junta pls hurry up as the deadline for application is Nov 18.

Hi All/Kiren
I know mine is a stupid question, but I'll still go ahead with it...
In the Application Form for PGDCM there is a column to fill up the CAT Application Form No. OR CAT Registration No...
Can we fill both of them since I have already received my CAT Admit Card...
Please reply ASAP cause the I need to post the form by Wednesday, 09th Nov.

Thanks in advance..

Yes Vardaan. You can mention both in case you have received the admit card.
In case you have not, even the Cat Reg No would do.

Hi Vin,

There are around 55-60 seats in PGDCM.

If ur talking about the interview calls then the PGDCM call accompanies the PGDM interview call i.e. you wont get a separate iterview call for PGDCM only.

For the final call there is the ATM that you have to give for selection to the PGDCM program. If ur GDPI is poor you can still make it through the ATM.
So there are many guys in my batch who had just the PGDCM final call.

even i applied for PGDCM..my scores are like
