Well prashant, you need not be that thankful because i can actualy understand what it is to be in the situation. I had similar probs last year when i was filling up forms.
As far as the doubt of the number of digits required in the feild is concerned, you can simply put in the CAT registration no even if it is of 7 digits( unless ofcourse they have specifically asked for two extra digits. From my knowledge, i know that a lot of forms are designed before the CAT admit cards are out so they are never sure about the length of the registration no. In case they have asked for your centre code , you need to get hold of it somehow.
Let me know in case you need more help or info

Hey can you throw some light on the MBA - HR & CG course of IMT. I guess its just 2-3 batches old. Is there a chance that cut-offs for this course would be lower than the normal mba course. Any info about batch size, last yr cut-offs ? Thanks dude.

Mr.Style guy,
Talking about the HR course at IMT, its true that its just 3 batches old( ours is the third batch) but if placements are anything to go by, the first bach that passed out rocked! infact the highest pay package of approx. 8 lacs was for an HR guy.The whole batch got quality placements with companies like satyam being the star recruiters. The batch strength is 30 and the cut off is definetely lower than that for PGDM course.. it was around 93 percentile for our batch.
As far as your knowlge of corporate governance goes, lemme tell you that it wont really help you a lot in fetching a call... but yes, while in interviews it would be a good tool for you to use and flaunt .
I hope that helps..

OBC stands for OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES
you shold select the "others" column in case you belong to the general category.

Hey lonewolf,
Where are you ?
Can someone (preferably from the HR course) clarify certain doubts/questions I have......
1) I am a qualified Company Secretary (CS), the syllabus of which, among other things, has a lot to do with Labour Laws (which I believe are an imp part of the HR syllabus). Would I get some extra weightage/marks for that while giving calls, or would that count only at the GD/PI stage, or not at all ?
2) Is the GD/PI process for the HR course different from normal ? If yes, in what manner, and with what purpose is that done ?
3) What's the current & proposed batch size ?
4) No. / percentage of experienced people ? Average age ?
5) Is there a bias towards the female gender, as is the case in most of the HR courses/colleges ?
6) Cut-Offs for last year ? Sectional cut-offs if any ?
7) Last but not d least, is there any difference in the fee structure ?
a few doubts abt d application form
1)where & how do i depict my CS qualification.can i show it in column 20( post-graduate degree), under `others' ?
2) what is d purpose of asking references ? can it be a professor/teacher or it has to be a corporate person ?
Thanks in advance.
