An ideal score should be 70+.

Cutoff would be around 55.

I guess the ideal score would have been 90, had you got just 85.

Cut-off should not exceed 55 as you said.

after a very good mock 3, i've had a bad day with mock 4...
ended up with 56.67

Hi

After browsing the thread, it looks like I require serious introspection in DI...

Had I not gone through the thread, I would have commended CL for a very tricky DI which forced my accuracy below 70...My hallmark being accuracy(cent percent in Quant again....:-)), I dont know what conspired at the center to force my results look like the following:

QA: 14.00
DI: 15.33
English: 19.33
Total: 48.67

I took MC-4 at home and therefore attempted each section for 35 mins..

Scores are as follows ...
DI - 25.33
QA - 11
VA - 26.66

I am really worried about the kind of papers CL is dishing out. The level needs to be increased in DI and VA, so as to matched with the actual CAT...

by the way any of you guys feel that the correction for q17 was really not needed...and the explanation given is somewhat nonsensical...

well the MOCK 4 percentiles have finally been declared

there has been a lot of hue n cry regarding some questions and their solutions but we must accept that such a confusion will also prevail once we come bk home after 20 th nov. Every centre will dish out its own solutions n keys n there will be atleast 5-8 questions whose correct answers will elude all of us so i don find any point in cribbing over this issue.

Secondly some of us feel that CL needs to make the DI n VA section tougher than this . I wud partially agree to this coz if we sit down n analyse the pst CAT papers we'l easily find that the papers were not very tougher than the level of CL mocks . what makes them tougher is that DAY

CAT will change the lifestory of all the test takers, It really does

ONCE u crack it ur the KING and if u miss , u'll be screwed bt FAMILY, FRENS, SOCIETY and even ur teachers who expected sthing diff than u got in ur score card

that ways i thnk all PAGALS must also keep a very sound mental framework n the right attitude to handle the unpredicatability of the paper as well as the PRESSURE and EXPECTATIONS attached to it .

DI in 2004 was surely tougher than this but u never know CL MOCK 5 can have a worse DI section than that so lets be prepared to maximise our scores in watever kinda paper we get and also --- IIMs dont guarentee a tuf paper. They make a deceptive paper which helps them eliminate max no of candidates - thats it,They intend making their job easier when it comes to GD/PI
so its not wise n doesnt makes sense in attempting only tough papers

on a diff stroke - i missed out on the toppers list by 0.33 marks

U bet !! For all my money the answer is 2 and not 1.

BTW the cutoffs seem to be on the lower side to me. I was expecting most of the junta to crack 58+ after I checked my score but now it looks like I had a good day.

Can any of u Delhiites lemme know what will be the %ile and AIR for a score of 60.67 ?? Assuming the cutoffs are as posted by Sugam, I seem to be clearing VA and DI cutoffs comfortably and only just abt making it in QA (10.33).
