A controvertial issue. But please avoid a war.
Please, try to answer the post in an honest way.
If u have any hint about the answer, then welcome.

I believe it to be around 95 %ile.

What u all say?

this wud b somewhere arnd 65-70% . i know a guy from this category getting a call at the score of 28 in last CAT.

isnt that too low .....I mean..even for SCSTs ...u sure abt this???
Somone had said it on PG that cutoffs were sumething arnd 75-80 last yr for ScSts...

well i may be wrong on the percentile numbers...but i can vouch for the score of 28 in CAT...if somebody can tell how much percentile ll it exactly fetch in CAT..

dude it's very difficult to get such kind of information...first it feels starnge when u ask %le from a SXC/ST guy.... and then the guy can always fib....

so take all this with apinch of salt..

86 percentile - 03-08-2005, 09:57 PM

I have a classmate of mine who got 86.43 percentile.He is an SC.Got IIMB and IIML calls.told he dint do well in IIMB.........But got through IIMB.I guess for an ST it will be even lower.Dont frown at the percentage.Beleive me its really that low.

Well I personally know an SC guy who got a call from IIML.He had got
74.74 %ile overall.He didnt go for the GD/PI cos he felt Lucknow was too far away a place from his hometown .
