B School Selection

Hey people!

I wanted to post this message to get ideas on which B Schools to apply for other than the IIMs for CAT 2005.

I have a tentative list...

IIMs : Rs. 1000.00 Test:CAT
SP Jain : Rs.1000.00 Test:CAT (Heard they have asked to reduce student intake?)
JBIMS: Rs.1000.00 Test:Mah CET (have to write test with some weird stuff.. a pain i thnk)

MICA: Rs.1000.00 Test:CAT (For people with interest in Advertising, i heard this is great place.. any alternate opinions?)

IIFT: Rs.1000.00 Test:IIFT test on 27th Nov,2005 (test with essay and GK questions!)

FMS: Rs.??? Test:FMS test ( When will the bulletin be out and when is the test expected?)

A rather sensitive note: Have heard IIFT and FMS prefer North Indians... any truth to this?


Approx "damage" (if u can call it that) Rs. 5000.00- Rs. 7000.00 to apply to 4-5 Colleges other than IIMs. Hey! it is defenitiely better than what those poor MS(USA) guys end up spending per university, GRE and TOEFL stuff!

fms form comes arnd 700 bucks n wud be released any time now. keep checking fms.edu fr further details
