hi,
i already wrote 2 u guys about my blunder of using a black ball pen 2 fil up the boxes in the form..
am really worried but when i checked my application status, it says,
ur application has been recd.
applications wherein some objectives hav been listed here...........
and these objectives listed on the site r to b processed and so on...................

but guys, i dont find any objections mentioned on the site...
what do i do?
i hav filled the circles with HB pencil but dont know how i made this silly mistak of using ball pen 4 boxes...

hey i don think u neeed to worrry... wel.. the boxes tat r needed to b filled in black is actually our entry ticket which comes bak to us only..its nt realy scannned by their systems.. wel..last yr i did some blunders lik u.. i actuallly wrote my first name first n den the last name in tat box(tat needs to b filled wid black pen).. wich is supposed to b othr way round..n den i used whitener n stuff to correct it... wich kinda messed it all.. but no probs at all... i safely got my tcket n gave my exam too... )so chilll.. n all the best!!!

Hi junta,

I was informed that the degree/provisional degree/ proof of being in final year that was supposed to be sent to IIM LUCKNOW along with the CAT App Form was supposed to be attested.

This I got confirmed from two IIM L guys, both saying yes, send them attested. If already sent the form, you can send again mentioning the application form number on envelope.

Good 'ol simple_aspirant called up the IIM L office and asked, they are saying the same, send attested.

Please get this confirmed on your own, and take appropriate steps.

ps : A steering committee will sit n decide (around 23/25 sep) whether to reject or accept those forms w/o attested photocopies.

Well, how can they be one rule for IIML and a different one for the others?!
If they are demanding attested copies now, AFAIK, there wasn't any mention of it in the CAT bulletin.

And what about guys who have already got their degrees? Are they expected to go back to their colleges to get them attested?!

All this creates a whole lot of confusion. Are you sure about this?

How can this and how can that is impertinent now my dear friend, what remains is a bare fact that (though they can't reject forms) you will have to send one attested copy of the photocopy. And this is unclear - attested by whom - it can even mean that get it attested from any gazette officer, it can even mean get attested from college.

Whatever, dont be in confusion, dont rely on my words , call 'em up and see for your self.

guys my cat form status still read as " not yet recieved"

i posted it on 1 st of sept frm mumbai
wat kind of steps should i take.i tried calling up at IIMA but the phone is always engaged
plz help me as this is the last day i suppose for the forms to reach IIM

Dont worry...If you send it on 1st, it must have reached by now...the only thing is that they update their database after 3-4 days...

Check the site tomorrow...n if it is still not there put all your efforts in calling the admission office...
