will the marksheet of 6th sem of BE suffice as a proof?
or is it necesary to get the letter of head of institution?
Anybody asked about this to the CAT authority? otherwise i guess i need to call--i got 0% atendance for now at college and i know the head of instituion wants my head for keeping with him for sure.

no sixth sem mark sheet wont be enough. u need a bonafide or 8th sem mark sheet or a provisional degree certi
hey guys m a 2004 passout engineer...writing CAT this year..but ain't having the degree...I've the provisional certificate but that is dated way back in Aug 2004...will that certi be OK...or there is some time limit attached to the provisional certificate...

hey ..... wat kinda bonafide ru talkin abt ???.....ive just completed my engn frm mumbai univ.....well the results r out ....but neither the marksheet nor the degree certi will be out bfore a while....i have a letter from the coll statin that i have completed all 8 sems n am awaitin the results of the 8th sem ....will that bonafide letter do??....or do i need a seperate one sayin that my results r out n im awaitin the actual degree certi ???...the degree certi wont be out until a couple o moths i think....so someone kindly tell me if i need to get a new seperate bonafide frm my coll authorities...

Posted a query earlier on the thread even before I started filling my Application.Srikrishnan was kind enough to clear it up.Now I have started filling my app up and I have more queries.
I have not taken a + 2 course.Instead I have done my Diploma in Chemical Engineering.My certificate has been awarded by the State Board of Technical Education & Training AP.Now,what should I fill up for my HSC Board?Is it the "any other" option?And what type of university does JNTU come under?

JNTU would come under option1 ie., insti recognized under Andhra State Legislature.
As for ur diploma, there is a separate column on the CAT form where u can fill in the diploma marks. In doing this, U are to leave the 12th or HSC section blank.

Iam talking about a bonafide stating that ur either doing ur final year(as is the case with me) or a certi stating that u have completed ur course(as is the case with u). Hope iam clear enough.
