Hi,

I am a BHMS graduate frm mumbai. I passed out this year. Can nebdy tell me about all the institutes in India which offer a Hospital and Healthcare administration course?

I want to apply this year.I think that the acdemic year must have already started. I heard that some institutes start their course in August. If its not too late i'd like to apply right away.

Help me out!!

Hi Anand,

I do not have any detailed info regarding your query. . However I know that TISS ( Tata Institute of Social Sciences, www.tiss.edu ) runs a two year full time course in hospital administration.

Also Symbiosis ( http://www.sihspune.com) runs a distance and full time courses .

i am Dr. Sandeep Talwar , a 4th semester student of MHA (Hospital). I can tell you 1 thing from my experiences in the field, nothing much is known about the profession, and not many good institutes offer this course- hence there is immense opportunity in it- if you get into a good institute like TISS.

With Healthcare being declared the best career by Mc Kensey report, and the booming of the health and hospital sector, we are seeing MNC hospitals setting base in India- and trends towards Managed Healthcare- what is popularly called as HMO in USA.

I can only add the scope is gr8, avenues are few, demand is increasing fast, catch the train early and you get a splendid career.

as far as the institutes offering the course, TISS, IIHMR, ASCI-Hinduja, Apollo, and IMS are the best options apart from BITS and AIIMS.

i'm a dental grad. aspiring for an mba in healthcare. the above mentioned institutes offer a variety of courses in the same.. also isb hyderabad.. but do u know anything bout the course in SIHS,pune??? is it worth it?
