Hi everyone
Has anyone received the call letter for UCO bank IT officer interview or PNB mains admit crd??
I have not received any personal intimation or info from any of these..
If anyone has previously attended the interview of IT officer den plz share the experience..What all do they ask? so that I can prepare according to dat..

Last Nov.08 i went for PNB IT officers interviews in New Delhi.I have 3 yr exp in IT field as a developer.They asked mainly in networking side.
I have a suggestion plz take CCNA certification.ur chances of getting selected will be 99.9%.In interview u will find guys from infosys,accenture,wipro....also from banks....Never felt in impression that in interview fresher/without jobs person will come.

Please tell that
1. whether descriptive is qualifying or not ??
2. English is qualifying or not ??
3. there are mere 25 seats for GEN category of corp but still they are conducting exams for sectional time limit :(

4. can anyone predict what could be the cutoff fot the shortlisted candidates ??

this time ----
reasoning has big weightage around 1.75 marks per question
maths has second big weightage around 1.5 marks per question
English & gk has little weightage like 0.5 marks per question

so gud chances for those who are preparing for CAT and other exams...

Appeared. 2nd shift. Got screwed in GK(1st shift mein easy gk thi???)
GK-20, 4 of them r wrong
ENGLISH- 30,all correct(I think)
MATHS- 30,all right
REASONING- 30,all correct
MARKT/COMP.- 35,all correct

yesterday i appeared for the exam...
It was my first & last cll exam as i want to join PSB as PO only.....
reason: i always dream of PO as a child ....and i am MCA with 2 yrs fulltime wk exp in IT conmpany and still doing job...or u can say handling ordeal :(

my attempts:
1. gk -- 27/40 ... around 25 correct
2. mkg&comp - 28/40 ... around 26 correct
3.qa - 32/40 .. arnd 30 correct
4. rs- 32/40... arnd 30 correct
5.eg-32/40 .. arnd 30 correct

i was thinking that gk wud be cakewalk but in paper i felt that gk was not so easy and some indirect questions were also there....

plz tell what are the chances of my selection...

i am GEN category & region i seelcted was Delhi....

my paper was in first shift and gk paper was on tougher side too.

1 descriptive is qualifying
2 english marks may be included.
3 they may be just following rbi. but there may be some reason behind it.
4 po experts Plz guess the number of correct attempts that one should have in each section to sail through.

so english is not qualifying ... english marks will be reckon for merit ...

were u expecting GK a bit easier than other PO exams....and wt bt the marketing paper....
SBI PO paper is made by XLRI faculty.....dont kno anything bt the clerk stuff
thats why GK is formidable in that.....
me have the exam nxt week...after that I can say some thing on the cut offs...It was expected that they are going to vary the level of paper in all the shifts....
puys pour in some thing more.....there no point in discussing what were the questions like....they are goin to make a altogether different paper...lolz

yes i think the same as after yesterday's paper.... it has been popular on all social networking sites that gk was tough so now guys should be well prepared for surprises.... who knows which section wud be tougher in next session on 15 nov.

a few minutes back i have seen gk questions discussion of evening shift on orkut and i wud say the questions were surely tough ones than the morning shift.

marketing paper was fine .....not so bad and not so good...
