Any one has idea about how much will be the GK cut off in CBI?
X = 88.8% , XII = 82.5% , B.Tech = 73.03%
Cat 08 = 83.94% ile (Quant=64, DI=98.75,VA=62)
Call IIFM(Waitlist 3 not cleared)

The probable GK cut off should be around 20 as GK was comparatively easy in CBI PO, normally it stays around 16-17.

But others were telling me that GA in CBI po was quite hard?

I'm posting here the image of the official notice pasted on the notice board at one of regional offices of SBI, this image is just being sent to me by one of my friend, now it is official that the web notification should be out on the SBI website soon ...

Probationary Officers ............. 2,000 (Notification awaited)
Probationary Officers (Rural) ... 2,500 (Notification awaited)

but in the CBI advertisement, sectional cut off for GEN category was specified as % so for gk cutoff should be 25.
plz tell i am right or not ??

but in the CBI advertisement, sectional cut off for GEN category was specified as 25 % so for gk cutoff should be 25.

No, pls dont have any doubts, it is clearly mentioned in the booklet that one needs to score atleast 50% overall, there is no mention of individual cut offs in any terms, be it in percentage or in percentiles, the individual cut offs are determined on the basis of relative performance of the candidates across India. I hope it clears ur doubts.

How the exams will be conducted...what i mean to ask is
1)will there be a single exam for both of them or do we have to give seperate exams?
2)Are they going to ask for preferences ?
3) What is the intent behind coming out with seperate vacancies?
