Hi friends,

could someone pls tell me that is there any hope for me as an applicant of bank PO job, as my marks in graduation is very low ( B. Com. 54.7 %) and most of the banks demand for grads with atleast 55 %.
I am also pursuing an MBA from a reputed institute.

appeared for icici interview ystrday.6 pple were selected from our group in g.d and i was 1 of them.in interview there were 3 pple and they bombarded with questions about why i am interested in banking and when i told them that i am a team worker they asked for an incidence to prove that.i told them about my time in my college cricket team, hearing this they asked why i didn't go for cricket and thus we had a kinda argument on tht.overall a good learning experience.

unfortunately u r not eligible for bank po exams if u belongs to general category, b'coz banks do not consider 54.7 equals to 55. If u r really keen on making ur career in banking industry, u can join as a clerk n can get promoted to next scale after passing internal promotion exams.

your chances are limited because there are still some banks that required only 50% in graduation like union bank of India. you can apply for SBI PO if you have 55% marks in post graduation.

Complete yours MBA. Some of Banks (not all ) give eligibility condition like that,"candidate Should have 55% marks in Graduation/Post Graduation"..So I think If you are able to complete yours MBA above 55% marks in few banks doors as PO will be open.
