You can refer to Banking Services Chronicle magazine, and Pratiyogita Darpan for current affairs. For GK you can read the commonly available yearbooks. Besides that marketing aptitude questions are asked in some exams such as BoB so some basic book on marketing by any author will do, anyway they involve more of common sense. The number of questions varies from bank to bank but generally it is between 200-300 and the time is between 2-3hrs. For BoB it was 3 but for SBI it was 2 (prelims). It also depends upon the number of tiers in the examination. So far in my knowledge only SBI and PNB take a mains exam and then a GD/PI, most of the banks only take a written test and then directly shortlist the candidates for the interview. The exams are more or less similar in nature and by practice you can easily crack anyone of them.
