I will try to answer this one based on my experience (though nothing to boast of)... Excuse me if I sound cliched...
Whatever you are asked in your GD/PI, try to be honest.. Being honest would require you to do some serious introspection into yourself as a person, do a complete SWOT, relate things to your past... Once you start doing all this, you would be in a better position to tackle any question put at you...

If you think you have the 'attitude', I think, you've what it takes to make it to 'Indian Ivy-League' B-Schools.. Regarding the aptitude, it would be wrong for me or anyone to comment on whether you have it (or not).. Be very confident about your choices, and more importantly, never look back!
You would do just well!

reply:
APTITUDE can be developed..
everything can be learned since every task has tips/tricks/intricacies..our task is to learn them as fast as we can to master it...
Feels good to return to PG after long time..it has given me so much...will continue to help/guide in whatever way i can.....

hello everyone....m new to pagalguy....
i have a confusion....
i am a bachelor of engineering from birla institute of technology ,mesra,Ranchi and i graduated in 2009 with electronics and communications engineering-64.6%.
i am very interested to join ISB for the post graduate business course they offer and understand that 2 years of full time work experience is mandatory...
i have stayed in Doha, Qatar since childhood and went to BIT for my graduation.
i have 3 job offers as of now....and i would like help in deciding which one should i opt for keeping the ISB goal in mind....
1.Asst. IT supervisor...Qatar Airways.initial pay INR 35000...after 4 months of probation....INR 50000
2.Asst. network engineer...Cisco systems...INR 35000 for one year then subject to renewal
3.Business Process Services Trainee,Risk Advisory Services,KPMG qatar.....INR 30000...subjected to increase after one year when they give me the position of an assosiate....
i have mentioned the 3 jobs with their respective remuneration.
i would like advice on the best offer in order to make the ISB dream seem closer.
thanking you already.

since your query is specific to what ISB considers...u can post ur query in the ISB thread...there the ISB seniors will be able to give you more specific guidance than general suggestion in this forum

not all IIMs take into consideration the acads..like say IIM C......also any job will be an added advantage cz jus like there is weightage on acads similarly there is weightage on work ex..if u feel ur acads r not that good u can build on wrk ex..also u may wrk nw n do executive mba frm IIMs after 5 yrs of wrk ex...bank job is good...but i dnt think tech support(if u mean call centre) will help ur profile in any way
