Dear friend,
With lot of humility I would like to bring to your notice a mix that has happened in my application form. My friend and I had purchased two-application form on 7-08-2008 by paying 1300/-each. My pay- in-slip number is 791111 and his pay-in-slip number is711201. Accordingly our CAT application numbers were given as 339809(mine) and 339810.
However while filling, due to an unfortunate mishap our forms were interchanged which lead me to fill his form. I would kindly request you to give me a right solution to my problem

I finished my grad. in Btech (mechaniccal) , iam working as a recuriting officer , i wanna do MBA and attending CAT & MAT , please suggest me best B-school to join in Hyd for distance or part time and what field to choose ,

out of teaching experience or call centre or marketing sides which one is better to join??? and will the IIM's consider any of these experiences??

The IIMs or any good mba institute and the associated companies arriving at the campus for placements certainly do not count call center and teaching( if u are not employed with salary subject to tax deduction) as experience.rest i do not now what kind of marketing you are taking about.

thanks dude actually i was selected for an mnc but due to market recession i dont have hope on my joining i am a 2008 B.Tech passout and planning to take cat 2009..i want to dedicate this full yr in prep for cat doing no job...is it suggestible or else i have to gain some exp??? i have only call centre and teaching options at present..

This is manoj parashar from pune.Did B.E.(CSE) from Guragon in July 08 and since then working with S/f Mnc in pune.I have lots of queries.so i would like to thnak everyone in advance who will be going to ans my quesries.
Firts of all my Ultimate goal is to do become an Entrepreneur(Preferably in IT sector) like the google guys id i.e. fast and furious.dont wanna to take too long to establish my Ist generation Business. So now i want to ask following things.

1.What are chances to get abroad exposure while studying at IIMA?
2.what is percentage of students going for their own venture(especially for IT sector) and also how abt kind of environment i.e. support and facilities for budding Entrepreneur(IT Sector) at IIMA?
3.Aslo Please try to tell me the entire course curriculum(subjects ,practical’s etc undergone )(PGP) for two years at IIM and how exactly IIM prepares the students for corporate world in just 2 years?.
4.One more think what is the chances of establishing their own venture after MBA(IIM) and MTECH(IIT) especially for a Computer sc person..
as this is the biggest dilema i m facing right now ..either to pursue MBA(IIM) or MTECH(IIT) in order to realize my long term goal(Entrepreneurship)..

Dude u have bumped an old thread. If oyu want info on IIM or may be IIM A specifically, hunt for IIM A website here. or u may PM someone from IIMA. By the way every IIM and IIT has its own entrepreneurship development cell. And if u r confused abt MBA and Mtech. then have serious thought on what exactly u r chasing.

through web site(IIMA) i dont think i will be getting a gud amount of info as compare to folks stduing their...ya i know both(IIM ,IIT) have their E-CELL but thats what i want to know dude..how effective they are and what if we tries to compare them..which one is better..and i think asked many think just have look over them..

I graduated last year and landed in a job, but due to recession I lost it. Now I have only 1 year exp. and I want to prepare for CAT exam.

I want ur suggestion. If I clear any B exams like CAT, EMS, XLRI etc...Will I be facing problem in interview because of doing nothing for 1 year except preparing for the exam only.
Please suggest me, what should I do with preparation of CAT. I haven't got any Job yet...

Go ahead and start ur prep for the entrances... u can always say this thing that i had to take an off frm my job to prepare well for the entrances and also the panel is not a recession proof thing...

They themselves have experienced this wid no 100% placements and a dip in the salaries offered...

There wont be anything negative for u as far as u cn justify and complement it wid a valid reasoning along wid decent %tile in the entrance test...
