hello frnds..

myself is anu n hail frm jaipur.i need help from nit guys/gals or who r somehow related to it.

i have done my bsc(hons-comp sc) n now going to persue mca . i took NIMCET 05(The NIMCET 05 is a National Level Test being conducted by NIT, Tiruchirappalli on behalf of all NITs offering MCA Programme.) n got rank of 384 out of abt 10k.n 2nd position in rajasthan moreover d total no of seats that nits offer is 420.

for d safer side i hav applied to banasthali vidyapith’s mca also . for d ppl who r unaware of dis deemed university, its one of d most prestigious instt in rajasthan and its mca program is known/ranked as one of d top 10-15 program in india. now my dilemma is that bansthali's result is coming on 17 th june n if i clear dis test that most probably i wil, i hav to deposit abt 30k as 1st installment of fees by 27-28 june(thr is no provision of fees refund) , on the other hand most of the nit will conduct thr counselling in mid july. so officialy i cant know my position as to i wil b able to get admission or not before last date of fees submission:huh: .so wot assistance i need from nit guys is that if they can somhow let me know that do i stand a chance of getting 1 seat in any of d nit or not.thr r only 9 nits out of all that offer mca prgm (nit-bhopal,allahabad,warangal,trichi,jamshedpur,surath kal,calicut,durgpur,rourkela).

Infact I talked to some faculties in nits on phone but dey declined to giv any idea.so if anybody plz can get some info regarding my possibility of getting admitted , I wil b really thankful to him/her.

Thr is 1 thing noteworthy is dat by simple calculation I sud get a seat as no of seats exceeds my rank but its not so coz thr r reservaion for som classes n state quota also (for ex thr r 60 seats in nit Bhopal but 30 r for UP candidates n 30 4 other states).

I think I hav covered almost al aspects that can affect my rejection or selection .now I m really looking forward to u ppl to suggest me wot sud I do n a special request to nit ppl to find out my chance by thr faculties or mca/engg students.
