Hi guys ... well i m from NSIT ( DCE ) ECE and i m also waiting for my joining date. Most probably will be sent to Hyderabad... as our seniors were also sent there.

hi every1,
i 2 have been selected by tcs on campus n am waiting 4 the call-letter.rt. now we r clueless here that when n where the training will be held.some guys of a nearby coll have got the letter asking them 2 join from 16th at pune.as with others i am giving cat this year on any count.

hey,i don't have my birth-certificate due 2 some reasons.i've always used my class 10 certificates 2 validate my date of birth.wouldn't it do at any cost?

n 1 more thing,we weren't told to get our passports ready n i've found out that there r many current tcs-ers who still haven't got a passport.but,still rumours abound that we shud have our passports ready.so how genuine is that?

i was campus recruited in jun 2004 by TCS bangalore
yesterday i went for my pre employment medical checkup...
I passed all the tests but discovered to my utter astonishment that I AM COLORBLIND!
they had a doubt so they called me again today for a re checkup for eyes by an eye specialist...
she gave me 36 slides( the ones with colored dots) to find out numbers, patterns, or color trails and i could read only 9 out of 36...
she said she is going to report me as color blind and also told me that the TCS norm is at least half the total slides shown should be clearly read...
i pleaded with her but to no avail....
An appeal to all ex-TCSers and would be joining ones....
Please tell me if TCS will reject me for this damn colorblindness thing or not( By the way i have worked in TCS delhi itself as a project trainee for 6 months without any problems due to damn colorblindness!!!)
Please if anyone has ever faced this? Help me... this is the only job i had....
my happiness is screwed...
ALso please tell whether Infosys and Wipro also have color blindness test in their medical check up....
Am i even eligible for the Software industry!!
Please help me guys... ill be grateful

this colorblindness is uncurable... wherever i go will i be thrown out only becoz of this...
will there be problems in travelling abroad also....
are there medical checkups of colorblindness in jobs after MBAs also...

i would like to know if we are allowed to have computers(desktops or laptops) in our rooms..the rooms which will be provided tro us during the training period...and if it varies across the different training centres...
