First of all it is VGSOM dear... secondly yes leaving it for VGSOM. Irony??? Dont c any irony in this... it is not unknown as to how these rankings are given and how genuine can they be. Incase u thought VGSOM is not a great a place to be in... then CSC also was not when I joined

Queries on MindTree...Hmm..Well...As it happened only me joined here @ MindTree and rohit_anand went to IIM-L.

I joined here at B'lore on July1st. 160 ppl with me. 55 were put into R&D services and the remaining were sub-divided into the technologies they'll b working on vis-a-vis Java, .NET, SAP, DW etc. 2 months training.

Coming to culture. Its damn good. Being a company just growing ( they are now of 2800+ strength planning to make it to 5000 in an year), the training initiatives are very well grounded.

There are lot of openings and u can easily find them on their site. For reference ...ask me...

where is Cadence btw - 01-08-2005, 08:54 PM

Guys I'm surprised that Cadence doesn't figure anywhere. As far as I know, Cadence once topped the employee sat survey amongst the small companies in the entire country.
And ever since it has been among the top for this. And I personally can vouch for the great environment at Cadence. This does not affect me in any way but just for the love for my company I felt the urge to write here .

yar..nd i m surprised..why we still discussin..bout a list which came out way back..2004!!
come on ..if u tink..cadence ..microsoft..oracle..they shud b there..better chek new list if its out..may b all u surprissed ppl..wont b surprise anymore!!
nd..defi..few more surprises will b as bonus for this thread too.. like..why meta soft is nt in list..why phoenix soft is nt there..or why slk is nt there!!

my idea..of best comapny to work is..where u r valued..nd like some prev post it was mentioned..all the big shots have pyramidal structure..nd so..its jst in all these great companies!! so..may be even some employee even in number one compny might nt agree with the list..nd some one..who is happy even in 50th position here..will consider his compny great!!
hai ki nahi!!

anyway..CAVEMAN//yar mere salary structure of tcs..dat too for 5 yrs..(dude..u tink u will b there after 3yrs at max..) newe it just solely dependz on u..nd ur performances..ur output..
can b anywhre frm 3 lpa( yup..even after 5 yrs ) to 6-7-8 lpa

rrdg

What if TCS files a bankruptcy case and goes down forever before 5 years? What if there is an apocalypse at the offing say after a year, just before your first appraisal?..
Just chill out man... your bond is for 2 yrs right? search for greener pastures if pay is what is solely on your mind! There are hoards of companies dying to pay you an obscene amount... but yes if you give the proposed apocalypse a miss i.e.

Why repeat old mistakes, when you can always make new ones!!
