Hello ,
I'm a 3rd year(5th semester) student pursuing b.tech in IT.Can anyone plz clarify about when can i give the CFA level 1 Exam ?Whether i am eligible for Level 1 in June 2010 as thn i'll be in starting of my final year or in december 2010 as thn i'll b in mid of my final year or in june 2011 ?
plz help me out with this ambiguity.

The next deadline is in Feb. You can chk it out at the institute website

It is not background specific , people from any background can do cfa.
Getting a job after completing just level 1 might be difficult but it will help if you complete level 2 and level 3

I jz found out tht Laxmi Xerox has d Scheweser for L1 June 2010.
He's charging 500 for d notes. (100 extra for home delivery).
He sells d TI BA plus II Financial Calci for 2000 n BA plus Pro for 3000.
But BA plus II shall do.

The Xeroxwala opp HR n KC also has it n shall sell it from Monday.
Didnt say d cost, but it'll be competitive i guess.
He also sells d TI BA plus II Financial Calci for 1850.

hi friends i plan to give cfa but i need little help to decide whether to take it in june or in dec.
if i decide to take in june then do i have enough time to prepare because i m from science background with very limited knowledge of finance.??
also i would like to know about how tough is the exam?
can someone with my kind of background take the exam successsfully?
