i called thm(SIIBs offic) up today...had a talk with a lady there in the placemnt enquiry section...

q1.wht r the prospects of the course??
a1 . prospects of the course are very gud..since energy sector is itself an upcomin sector nowadys...and hence we hav decided to strt this course..to meet the demand in the field energy n environment.
q2. wht type of placemnts can we expect at the end of this..??
a2. since its the first tym we r startin this course so at very outset we cant say how gud it will be..but we will invite companies for recruitment..now it is upto u to crack the interview...for tht u will have to hav a gud CGPA at the end..if u dnt hav the skills to clear the interview thn wht can be done...

q3.info. abut the selection process and wht will the total fess including hostel

q3a plz check the website on or after 11th to hav detailed info. on this...

q3b. the total fees wud be 7.5lcs+..but im not xact on this... xact details will be given to u once ur selected...

hey nice job bittu....even i hd a chat with d concerned executive and they intimated high probabilty of cmapus recutment....tantamount to that of the conventional courses oing on over there.....

but a little obscurity was evident over the fee payble...and to me the gross appeared to be abov 8 lck.....well lets hope fr the most fecund hopes regarding d course....m thinkin of applying fr.....

ya see campus placemnts will be there so probability in tht case is 1...but how gud it will be thts wht we hav to see with tym..i also enquired abut the fees with sum students who have applied to SIIB for AB ,Ib thy said tht it will go 8 lacs...so including other expenses it will cum 8+lacs

Now 8+ lakhs is really a large amt for a new course. Its really hard to see even at recession period wher ppl are loosing job, colleges are just taking advantage. Sad guys!

6-7Lakhs was a ok figure, but 8+ is really scarin.........
