Hi,

I am a final year CSE student of IIT.I have been offered an MS at UIUC with funding(no tuition or service fees + 2200$ per month) and I also have a job offer at Oracle(CTC >10 lakh).
I wanted to do MBA but my CAT bombed and I ended up with just 1 call.If I would have got through CAT I would have surely gone but I cant be sure of it for next year too as it is so unpredictable.In this time of recession where job security is a thing which one cant be sure of should I go for a JOB or do an MS.In 2 years I would have saved a lot of money but I wont be having the relevant work experience , but then I could go for a top GMAT MBA program which people have told me is better than IIMs after working for a few years.I am totally confused as of now and hence need advice.I dont really hate technical field but since I havent seen the industry as of now I dont know whether I will be suited for marketing or consultancy or a purely coding role because the only knowledge I have of these fields is by seeing the soaps and hearing it from people.Please advise me on this issue.
