One question :is it necessary to score a bare minimum in all the sections or is it the total relative score that matters??ethics isn't turning out to be one of my strengths !!

Finally an official confirmation regarding identity proof:

If you are from India and do not have a passport, the following documents are other examples of acceptable ID: • Driving license,
• Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card,
• Election Commission of India Identity Card (Voter's Identity Card).

Not much overlap except Derivatives, and a couple of readings on Bonds. This constitutes 1/4th of FRM L1 syllabus.
PM me if u have any further doubts.

hi puys,
i am giving the cfa level 1 exam this dec...i had a couple of doubts in my mind...
how many practice papers should one solve to get a fair idea of time management?
do they have sectional wise cut-off's for the exams?

I have completed ethics,quant,eco,fra....everything else is remaining....

Thanks in advance and best luck to all....

There is no sectional cut off but Ethics always has a higher weightage. That is in case you are close to overall cut off and are falling short and have scored high in Ethics, CFAI would normally pass you. So do well in Ethics.

As far as practice papers go, try to do from the CFAI website. The schweser and other papers are normally very difficult and you tend not to finish it in time
