Yeah obviously things may not turn out as anticipated. However, would you be able to comment on my chances for a career shift in this scenario?
My background is of Economics Honours, and have been working in IT (Oracle Apps Financials) for the last 2 years. Hence I do not have "relevant workex" as per any finance firm, say crisil/irevna/DE Shaw etc etc.
So would an MBA in FIN and CFA / FRM allow me to get into these kinda instituitions?

PS: My interest in the field grew through equity analysis when I started getting into the cash market during my college days...
