I was trying to register for DEC L1 but cud not due to the credit card problem.
I gave the credit card no., card holder name, expiry date . It is VISA credit card.
Yet it did not take up the payment and the message I got was plz contact ur credit card company. Can anyone help me in this regard as to what happened. The card company is also clueless. Should I use a different credit card or something?? Anyone can tell me whats wrong here.???

The Delhi High Court has permitted CFA Institute to hold the December 2009 CFA exam in India. We are working to finalize test center locations, and we will contact you next week with additional information, including instructions on how to change to a test center in India.

In the meantime, please do not submit any change requests, as an India test center is not yet an option in our system.

The Delhi High Court has permitted CFA Institute to hold the December 2009 CFA exam in India. We are working to finalize test center locations, and we will contact you next week with additional information, including instructions on how to change to a test center in India.

In the meantime, please do not submit any change requests, as an India test center is not yet an option in our system.

CFA in India is conducted by ICFAI university
which is better depends on a lot of factors

Hi All

I am planning to go for CFA and cant decide whether to appear for level 1 in dec or try in jun. i am a BA graduate so its a new thing for me. please advice if it is practically possible for me to clear Level 1 with just 4 month preparation. i am a full time employee but i can devote 3-4 hours daily. Is it good to join a coaching institute, if yes than what all are the options in Delhi.

Great news guys...

Though CFA Institute has not yet finalized the test centers in India, but any idea are there multiple test centers for CFA exam or only in Mumbai. To the best of my knowledge June 2009 CFA exams were conducted in Mumbai alone. Any idea if in the past before this conflict started about holding CFA exam in India, were there used to be multiple test centers or only one in Mumbai.
