I am new to this forum, 24 years of age & have graduated as Bachelors of Business Administration (Full Time from Jagannath International Management School degree affiliated from Guru Jambeshwar University Hissar) in the year 2005 with 60%. Since then I had been working with logistic firm into operations department.
Now, would like to change my profile and make my career probably related to human resource or dealing with development of work arena & work culture. Since nowadays it is so much stress and hue and cry about issue and Management is only confined to treat employee as resources. Hence I want to bring some qualitative aspect towards this approach J
So, want to study further in a discipline which could act as a catalyst for me making my position in corporate or public sector with another dimension, though would not mind to be part of the rat race of pursuing MBA being the most luring career option nowadays to students, in case nothing shapes out in strategy I am planning in (though tried this year but cudnt get through any gud B school, so jinxed badly).
Hence, could you please help me with below details (if possible):
v I am eligible for pursuing Masters of Arts in Psychology or Masters of Arts in Applied Psychology (if yes what is the procedure and scope in universities in India & abroad)?
v What is the difference between these two and which one is most suitable from career perspective?
v What is the scope of it as a career and possible remuneration from it if one compares the same with MBA from a top notch B School in HR which one is higher and more respectable.
v Students are required to appear for any entrance tests for MA in Applied Psychology, If yes what are the tentative dates for the same.
v Also if one would like to pursue the same from Universities abroad which are the top most ones and also are there any scholarships, accolades one could apply too.
v Also what are the career prospects of the same in India and Abroad (in context of employment) and renumeration attached to it.
Please help me with as many details as possible as I want to start my career in psychology.
