I need a help guys !

Since I am not getting India as the center for L1 CFA in Dec 2009, should I go with kathmandu or any nearby center for the moment so i can start preparing, and if and when India is allowed to hold the L1 exam, request to change the center to India.

I have the material from Schweser BTW and the next deadline isnt until September.

I registered for CFA level 1 in June and quite prepared to fail because I have not yet started any preparation. I would like to know what this schweser notes is. Is it secret sauce? There seems to so many schweser books. Please suggest me the exact name of the book. I would like to buy that book.

am planning to take CFA L1 in dec .. but I haven't registered yet .. I wanted to know wat all things ( study material, calculators etc. ), apart from the material provided by CFAI, are required for preparation .. I've heard about Schweser notes but dont know from whr to get them .. Can someone tell me the details of the location in Delhi from whr I can get them ... And is it sufficient to prepare from CFAI books and schweser notes ?? and how much time per day (approx) is required to clear CFA L1 as I'm joining a B-school this year ..

hi ankur first of all congratulations for your good results
You can choose to get photocopies of schweser notes from nai sarak however they are the same as in softcopies available on net so I would say that you join google group for cfa december and you will get all the schweser notes and some other very useful information as well.

Thanx for the reply ... pls give me the links for the softcopies of schweser notes and also the link of the Dec 2009 CFA google group ... also, one more query .. the notes that I'll get from nai sarak, will they be the latest one , like for the dec exam, coz the syl changes a bit every time ...
