hello.. I'll be taking L1 in June. Just started with economics from Schweser.
can any of the seniors tell me as to which are the tougher subjects and need to be given more time and should be taken up early?
I'm an engineering graduate and have some idea of finance.
just got my CFA material on 19th jan (monday)... they look really intimidating.
i am starting out fresh and planning to take up the exam in june 2009.
any-body who has finished reading the curriculum or has partly finished the original material , please let me know which are the more difficult and time consuming ones.
and send in you opinion if my goal of passing level 1 june is a realistic one.
ps : i am currently working and can put in about 20 hrs a week towards the preparation.

i got my schweser notes from mum.yesterday.
have started with the ethics part already. if any one wants to form group in pune most welcome . had a look at the material it is interesting chi square , z-test,T-test, all force me go down my memory lane. anyways CFA is worth.

Count me for this group, I have also recently got the schweser notes from mum. and started with the Derivatives part. Please also share your time table. At this point of time I am very much scared about the Financial Analysis and Reporting, as I am from Engineering background, so want to know how you guys preparing for the same.
Lets start this group quickly as we are running short of time and with good preperation definetly we will make it.
What is the difficulty level of questions given at the end of each chapter in CFA original material and also at the end of each chapter in Schweser Notes ??? Can we expect the same difficulty level in CFA exam or is it goin to be tougher than these ????
