Yes you get that only , nothing else, just try to get hold of schweser from somewhere .

The notes are too comprehensive , just in case you have too much of time to go through every page in the CFA material . A single page miss can be fatal , who knows you might get 30 questions form that page !
Be very thorough with Quant , it will help you further !! And calculator , know the inside out, you should be able to tell right which keys are where ! Its like typing blind !!

SHIT HAPPENS !

DO YOU GET ONLY 6 BOOKS? NOTHING ELSE?

Do you get the learning outcomes in the pack? Telling you the main things to go through as opposed to reading everythin?

Well first thing ..
The material has no LOS and I think that is the outcome of Schweser notes ! CFA material is too exhaustive so I would not recommend that if someone is studying odd 200 hours !
Yes there were 6 books , and one brochure , which initially looked like a mouse pad ! Cant help it I am from IT LOL !!
Ah some postcards also , two tags which I loved "Caffeine has become my staple diet, I have started learning to sleep while standing " Something like that ...

Well I am from Mumbai but I have to wait till 29th Jan for my results and then might be I can join you ! However I don't mind solving problems and discussing and sharing material !
About the brochure , there is nothing great there ! So need to post it and as such that would be a straight forward violation ! :1eye: Mods have become pretty strict ! Right Mods :rockedov:

Well post any other queries and I would definitely try my best to help you out !

Well well well lots of questions ! Ok let me take this question up first, there is nothing out there in the brochure , you will have 2-3 guys/gals telling you how much they have benifited from the course ! Nothing to help you in the exam Pal !!!

Passing percentile, well you have only odd 30-40 % passing 40 is on a higher side !! So you know how tough it is , well about the passing percentage , it is assumed to be 65-70 % in the exam !!!
Okay about the viability , well it all depends how fast can you switch over to a financial work profile, because you get charter after 4 yrs of workex in the same , plus you need to understand what you want to become and where you see yourself ! Well I am into IT too with more than 4 years in Equities ! So I would say that it all depends on what you want to be , and where do you see yourself , it can be an opening for you towards Business Analyst , and if you have the fire, then there will be no one to stop you from getting into Equity Research to trading !! Well all what you want and aspire to be ........ Plus one thing the atitude is very important ! I one met someone who said he considers a person just smart taht he cracked CFA .. So all your thought dream and ambition
