As far as I know the passing marks is 35% but I am not sure and like if any one can put more light on this topic.
I also heard about this that there is a CFA exam center is now at Mumbai. Can any confirm this share any info you have on this topic.

There is no such thing as 'fixed passing marks' !!!
CFAI decides on that front after every exam. They don't not reveal the criteria. Depending on the difficulty of exam & overall result CFA decides the criteria.
Besides, you can pass in Level -1 even if you flunk in some of the other subjects, except Ethics. You must clear Ethics.
35 % is not passing marks. It's the number of people who pass out of total candidates. Since last 2-3 years, it's somewhere around 35%.

Ahem, the pass % is 35...which means of 100 people taking the test, 35 clear.
It is not 35 marks!
About Mumbai as a test center...where did you hear abt this? CAn you quote the source plz.

Just want to know if there is any one from Noida or Delhi for June 2009 level 1 exam. Need help where to purchase HP 12C Platinum or Texas calculator in delhi and also if there is any one intrested in forming a study group.

Hey puys,
can any body pls reply if there is any extra customs duty applicable while receiving the CFA material after registering. if yes then how much???
Also wat documentation needs to be done wid the customs office for clearance of the CFA Material??
These are some questions i got to know after reading policies from cfa website.

No additional duty to be paid, and no documentation reqd either..
BTW, got my material yesterday in less than 6 days of ordering..
