A query from a fresher. - 22-06-2008, 05:50 PM

I am an M.Sc IT student. I have been selected for the post of IT officer in a reputed bank.

I have no prior knowledge in finance stuff.

To boost my career growth I have 2 choices

(i) I want to pursue an MBA in distance education mode
(ii) The insurance sector is also flooding with numerous
oppurtunites now. So is it wiser to move in that track?.
What are the PG courses and career options in Insurance sector?

Out of these two choices which one wud be ideal.

Which course shall i take and what wud be the
best institute for the same

Any other good suggestions are also welcome.

Thanks.

As for the insurance sector, it is better that you talk to someone who is already in that sector. He/she will be able to help you much better in that prospect.
Hope you enjoy your stay on PG.

Cheers
