Pointer To Percentage Conversion

Hi , I need tp know how the pointer to percentage conversion is done .
I mean many institute (PG) want minimal 50% marks at UG level . But in engineering we have got pointers . Any got any indea how the conversion is done

Each college might follow a different scale of pointers. Let us know all grades your college has and then we might be able to find. Also the best is way to get the details from your college itself.
