well for the intros....my first post and i hv heard a lot abt this site.i am pursuing chemical engineering,will be starting my third year.now i had put my sights on doing ms from a good us sniversity and am already on my way to give gre anytime soon.apart frm the interest in the field, my other prerorgative was to study and settle in us(not a chauvinist at all
).but lately some doubts have crept in my mind and its quite imperative to get rid of them to keep the flow of motivation going.
1)is it very difficult for an indian to get a job after doing ms from a top 10 university,what are the qualms associated?
2)how is the placement,salary and life compared to someone doing an mba from a top b-school here.
3)i am nt averse to mba bt i have inclination towards staying technical as well.is it still the time to wait and analyse
4)i will easily land up into a good job with nice salary(gold medal in second year
,silver in first),so is the idea of pursuing ms still worthwhile in order to enhance my profile.
if the post presents a confused mind then i say that is the case for like one month.anticipating suggestions.
