Career guidance needed!

Hey friends,

I have just finished by B.Tech. I have an offer with Cognizant and will be joining them shortly. I did give the CAT '07, albeit with minimal preparation. Scored an 89%ile there. I want to do an MBA down the line. How much work experience would be ideal? Would you suggest giving the GMAT or taking the CAT again?

Welcome to PG.
There is nothing like an ideal work-ex kinda thing. U must be able to justify ur decisions n choices at the end of the day.

Do search for the info. before starting a new thread. Also, for personal discussions, starting a new thread is not encouraged at PG.

Introspect urself, ur needs, constraints & n limits before goining for any decision.
Personally, i feel that work-ex helps in MBA n for abroad, generally 2 yrs. of work-ex is needed.
