Is it really a good idea to have a REALLY non-conventional answer like this?
Please help me with this. Any guidance would be appreciated.
buddy, if its relevant, then it makes sense....

it shud not be "different" for the sakes of standing out.....it should come out well...so its a risk.....

give us a situation and your response, maybe we can then comment on it...

Applicable work experience does not mean that you should have been a part of the sports industry. I think it would be great if you do...but not necessary.

I think you should have at least 3 years work ex. and not 2.

This is what the University says:
"It is necessary for anyone who is considering studying the MBA (Football Industries), to normally have at least three year's experience in full-time employment. The work experience will help applicants both with gaining admission to the course and with doing an MBA if for part of this time they have been in a role that has involved managing budgets or people or both. Professional experience, for example as a lawyer or an accountant, is also valid work experience. The particular business sector that applicants have worked in is not so important, just as the subject of the first degree is not really important. However, the FIG would advise that the areas that would provide most benefit for a future in the football industry would be finance, law, media, marketing, retail and IT. There are many others though where applicants would pick up experience of relevance e.g. engineering or central or local government. "

Hope this info was of some help.

Hi Guys,

I have an offer from Birbeck, University of London, for the Msc in Sports Management n Business of Football.
I am seriously considering the offer as its the industry i want to get into, but am not quite sure about the prospects after the course.
Anyone have any information or opinions about the college or the course.

Cheers
Ashank Bidri
