Soon IIM can offer distance MBA.
Get IIT, IIM degrees sitting at home- Hindustan Times

Any idea how soon these course will start ? Is it possible that this course start from 2008-09 academic year ?

U can currently pursue IIM & XLRI programs through the Satellite mode.

1] NIIT: Welcome To NIIT IMPERIA

NIIT Imperia

They offer various programs in different disciplines from IIM A, C & I

2] XLRI has also tied up with Hughes Net to provide Satellite Programs

I think its a different course.Its a satellite based course which one has to attend live where as other is more flexible.
