i kinda could not make up my mind whether to go for MBA or technical as i was equally good or bad at both.
Now,i have decided to prepare for the MBA this year (although it is already kinda weighing on my mind that i have missed the bus).
I wanna know what are the courses/activities that i can do so as to compensate this 1 year delay,
Like i am taking a foreign language class and so on so that i make a good case in the MBA application |
My dear friend,
You need not worry about missing the bus. You have over two years of experience now. Study well, keep working, and give the 2008 season of exams and admissions. Ie, CAT 2008, SNAP 2008, XAT 2009, et al. Do well, and you can enter a good Bschool in 2009, and pass out in 2011.
You will, I hope, by the time you get into a Bschool, have atleast 3 years of experience. This will stand by you in good stead, and also help you in getting better placements than your fresher batchmates as a lateral candidate. If you are working during the period between completing your graduation and starting your MBA, it is a good thing.
Rest Assured, you have not missed the bus. In my batch, there are people with 5-7 years of workex as well. They too have done good in their course and placements.
