Interesting Project at Work: Need your Help Puy's! - 03-03-2008, 07:17 PM

Hi Puys,

I am a Senior Analyst and I am currently working on a very interesting location assessment project. I need your help in assessing a few cities on one parameter - How western are they?

Confused? - I was confused too. But this is important as in my industry; you need to get people who know western culture, as most projects are from the western world and for the western word. So, the thinking should be westernised.

The proxies will be -
How many fresher engineers/MBA’s have western orientation - watching Hollywood movies, having western food, buying western clothes, listening to western music.

The cities are:
  • Indore
  • Pune
  • Kochi
  • Chennai
Also - Lahore, Dhaka, and Colombo (if someone has an idea about these).

Taking Delhi as a base (at 10 = Most western) please rate the cities on 1-10 scale.

Detailed insight will be very helpful

This is crucial for my project - I hope this is fine Mods

I would love to discuss about this, in case anyone wants to know more.

Best regards,
Vicky
