US Education Credit Hours and related questions - 24-11-2007, 01:05 PM

Hello Folks!

For the past couple of days, I have been breaking my head in figuring out about the US education requirement of 120-150 credit hour course.

For example, if the qualifying criteria for a US Education program is 120 credit hours in your graduation, what exactly does it mean?

More importantly, I have a BSc from good old India!
No marks for guessing that its a 3 yrs program. So, 3 yrs of graduate education in India is equivalent to how many credit hours in the US of A?

Would highly appreciate if anybody could help me out with this question.

Cheers
Ranbir
