Average Academic Grades & MBA From A Top 10 B School - 01-11-2007, 02:24 PM

Dear All

Well...to begin new to this forum and sounds interseting. i am already an MBA from a B grade college and working as a Sr. Consultant with a HRO Consulting Firm.

Now wish to try 1 year GMP program(s) at XLRI & SP Jain, the only restarining factor is my average academic grades...that really makes me worried.

Please tell me if these top run colleges accept guys with average academic grades as well, i understand that they require only a basic degree to write a exam , but when comes to shortlisting do they even consider candidate(s) with average grades but good communication and high entrance test percentile.

Just want to make sure that i am working in the right direction, well need a guidance at this point....i appreciate all prompt messages & advice

if you are already a post grad, then i dunno how much value a GMP prog wud be since as far as i know, GMP at SPJ is for undergrads as well....if you are looking at a one-year course, y dont u consider a 1-yr executive mba. sure it wud tke more efforts to get into a good school, bt u'll atleast be sure tht it wud fetch u something of value worth ur work exp... good luck anyways!
