justice to 4 year term in an engineering coll? huh!! u gotta be kidding me.

how many of us do that? not beyond IITs i suppose.
most of engineering addmissions are based on just a 3 hr written test and addmission is taken by students on what rank they have rather than their intrest.

then its just software software software software and software. how many of your friends who did their engineering in mechanical or chemical or civil are working in their core feilds? most of them would be in some software firm. thats if u r not from ne of the iits or some other top notch coll. thats the case with 99 pc of the junta. so the question of doing justice to 4 yr engineering term doesnt arise because 4 yr engg degree is irrelevant in context to the career. sorry its not related but i thought that i should awnser.

i am still waiting for the replies to my main question though.......... and i need them fast because have my joining fast aproaching.

My opinion:

Join google ad words in gurgaon and stay closer to your family. If you like working in google, enjoy. In case, if after six months, you want to shift- Then you have plenty of options to choose as software companies in gurgaon and noida are looking for candidates.

Just few days ago, one girl posted here (the thread must be on page 2-3-4), she paid Rs 2 lakhs as bond amount to leave the job in the other city and go back to home town (join a company in the home town) to stay closer to the family- Staying closer to family releases oxytocin and serotin chemicals which keeps a person fit, healthy and cheerful (me studying neuroscience these days )

After few months or a year, leaving google and joining any other company in gurgaon and noida is an option always open for you which will not be possible if you move to bangalore.

Dump Nandan Nilekani (Infosys co founder) and join hands with Sergey Brin (Google co founder)

the infrastructure services field is the most pathetic field u can ever be in. I myself am in the same field in the company u'r talking abt. and the nature of the work & environment sucks big time. But i'm stuck for a few more months bcos of the bond.

On the other hand, Google Adwords is a very chilled out job & enhances your creativity & knowledge immsensely . The pay was 18 K for freshers till about 2 years back. I dont know now. There would be 11 rounds where they see your creativity , communication & good english(strong vocab) skills.

My suggestion wld be with Google.
