Guidance on marketing and sales project

Hi all,

I have to do a project for 4 months as part of my course. I am planning to do it in Sales or Marketing. It would be really helpful of you guys if you could suggest me a few projects regarding sales and marketing separately. Actually, mine is a very specialized MBA related to apparel brands and apparel retailing and my friends who are doing MBA in marketing have advised me that marketing students from good B Schools mainly go into sales and just a few exceptional students go directly into marketing. Therefore, I am thinking of a project more related to sales than marketing (though please suggest for both). Guys please help out as I don't have many people who can help in this regards. Waiting eagerly for your replies. Thanks

I was not sure which was the relevant section hence i opened in two sections which i found relevant. Mods are requested to close whichever thread they feel is irrelevant.

Guys it is a request to help me out in this regard, this is quite urgent. I am sure it is not a very difficult question for those who have completed their MBAs and those who are in final year. Thanks
