hi every1...

i jus got myself reg here... neways wanted sm help frm u guys... i'm a 2006 passout from EEE stream... appeared for cat last year n got an 85%... applied to only a couple of coll expectin 94% n hence everythin went wrong... here r sm doubts i hav abt d whole thing n i'd really appreciate if u guys can help me out wid dis...

1. i'm not very much inclined into software so half of d opportunities r closed for me... gettin a job in my own field is not hard but the companies r far off frm my place n so joinin dem wid eat up all my time... how to go abt d whole issue...
2. i'm jus an avg joe... got 62.5 in grad, 87.5 in 12th and 67 in 10th... how far are acads imp for selectin the candiates???
3. i'm tryin desp to get myself a job but hard luck so far (lookin for jobs since mar)... wat if i dont get ne job at all... will my no work exp b negated if i score a higher percentile (arnd 94)... n r call center jobs accepted as work exp...

plz help me out guys... hopin to get sm replies on dis...

P.S: expectin sm serious suggestions here cos i'm really scared abt d whole thing...

dont worry, u will get a Job. With such a booming economy, u shud if u know how to speak english and how to run ur fingers on the keyboard, which I think u know...

call-center work-exp is accepted.. If u wanna do sth diff, try to join an NGO..

yeah abt dat... im tryin to get myself a job in an NGO of sorts... in d corp comm dept... dunno if itll work out... n if call center really counts den i shud b gettin one... got a couple of offers for the tech supp but left em dat time thinkin it doesnt count... so shud i go ahead wid dem if my ngo thing doesnt fall int plcae??? thanks again buddy... will keep ya udated on my job front... thanks a tom for all d help again man...

If NGO thing does not work out, Tech Support is fine.. You can always explain your learnings there in a positive sense..

And After MBA too, u might get a Lead Position as a lteral in BPO sector.. or IT Support sector..

hey... jus wanted to ask ur opinion on one more issue... actualy now im plannin on doin a PG diploma course in SCM or CRM (correspondence) from one of the universities (icfai or symbi)... dat way i get time to study for CAT n if d panel poses d ques of wat after grad ill b able to explain dis... ur take on dis idea of mine... havin a pgdcrm on my resume never harms so dat way im safe right... considerin i dont manage to get ajob til nov or smthin...

Its a good idea, the only catch is tht once u enter an MBA class, ur preferences tend to change..

So ur extra education may go waste if u join irrelevant company.

got a gud job after graduation as a design engg (oil nd gas) wid a veri decent salary..dat was last august

gotn 99.7 percentile in cet but wont make thro jb i guess

is it worth trying cat d second time ( first time got 94 %ile)

m bugged wid my job ...or shld i jus take sydenum or wateva i get ....
d onli problem der is dat mayb my payscale wont shoot up wel as compared to d oil nd gas job

help me out

neva taken classes in my life......but thn my jobs a 12 hr job cant expect to stay awake later.......pls pls pls do help me out

as my personal opinion.. do that thing which satisfies u..dont carry any burden..coz think how long u can carry that..also is MBA really fits in ur plan..or is just another desperate jump.. do think about it...
