hi

i am workin in an organization which has employed me with a bond period of two yrs.
in case i do my mba aftr a yr 's experience, thus breaking the bond , i mite not get the relieving letter and exp . certificate...

so can i quote a yr's experience durin admission to iim's .... if so wat sort of proof will they ask....

please help me....

joinin letter and salary slips will do..

And even after u brek the bond, u can get the relieving letter after paying the requisite amount..

But while joining the college, Service certificate and relieving letter.'

If you have relieving letter, then the offer letter as well as salary slips are not asked for.

However u have to mention ur salary durin GD/PI and for that u need to have a proof, if not slary slips, Form 16A/B/ watever or some income statement will do..

I won't be having a relieving letter to show my work ex of 12 months when I join as to get that I need to pay around 70k which I am not willing to do. Nor are they willing to negotiate the amount. I have my appointment letter, salary slips and bonafide letter stating i am their employee which doesn't mention the end date. I will have my last salary slip. Will all this suffice for summer and final placements??

I doubt if they willl accept only the last pay-slip. BTW, if you have worked for any 12 months, then by all means you should have the FORM 16. Try to get that . Secondly, if in your company, payroll processing is online, then you can take out the print-outs of the salary slips of the previous months too I guess. What say?

ya by salary slips, i meant i have all salary slips. Along with that i have appoinment letter and a bonafide letter stating i am their employee from june 06. This letter won't have end date. Form 16 i will try to get from my HR. Will all this suffice for my summers and final placement post MBA?

Depends from company to company....Some may just see your service certificate and some may want to the relieving letter too.

Form 16 is given by the fin dept when the ppl start filing taxes foir the prev year which is generally in july.

I am in a similar situation as Vishal was at the time when he posted this query. Please tell me Vishal, did you join MDI, with just the offer letter, payslips and the letter stating that you are an employee? I hv all these documents & form16 too, but no relieving letter & experience letter. What chance do I stand for A-grade B-school admits & later, placements; considering these documents as proof of experience (offer letter, payslips, form 16)

Please tell me as it is very important for me to know this. Any kind of feedback by fellow PUY's will be very helpful.
