Hi Guys,
Brilliant to see you here. For starters, I am working with Evalueserve in the Business Research division. And to take that forward, i believe that i would be on the same team that you might be joining (i guess you were interviewed by Rajeev, who is a team lead in my group).
Not going into too much into the details, there are just a couple o things i would point out here. As an international analyst, you would be paid according to a different pay slab than the analysts hired in India. the exact details would be communicated only to you, but rest assured that the salary is good (by Indian lifestyle standards, and can easily afford you a trip to Nepal and the Eastern part of India in a month's salary).
Further, the culture here is amazing, to say the least. we work across industry verticals, across geographies; and time zones. to add to this is our extensive network of international analysts who bring a totally different cultural background, resulting in a very vivid environment!
Parties... those come in a bucket! We end up partying with the whole group almost once every two weeks, and that comes as a nice break. the work, however is taxing, yet extremely enjoyable. It can vary from a simple call to understand sourcing pattern and searching the internet for a list of companies, to high-end, high-profile consulting type market studies. It is very probable that you end up getting your fair share of all of it, something that makes the experience even more worthwhile.
and please keep on posting here if you have any queries.
ciao
