2). Is there any bond or something to join crisil after the course. What are the scope outside crisil? Is the degree provided (CCAP) is known to industry and taken at par with MBA(finance). (Although I am sure that course wise and with the internship, CCAP guys will be unmatched in credit rating and research industry ). Correct me, if am wrong.

Thanks
Abhijeet
Well abhijeet, I am a part of CCAP and would strongly recommend that the program is not meant for people having rich experiences in the industry be it any. CCAP is well placed for freshers in finance, and besides that if package is a major worry then please abstain from applying.
You can directly apply to CRISIL's businesses for a job.
As far as bond is concerned, there isn't any bond to carry on with CRISIL after the course. Evaluating CCAP vs MBA Finance, both are different. CCAP is much more extensive and covers a vast syllabi. CRISIL's name vs MBA from a b-school, that can be found out by a bit of market research.

Hi Sklar,
I really don't know whether the BPO workex would be considered but even freshers stand a good chance of getting selected if they are good in other areas. in the PI the acads play a fairly important role as the participants are grilled on their graduatl level study

2. crisil test pattern???

3. Life after certification .... sply if u donn work for crisil ... and whats its value outside crisil in the industry ???
1. Well your cat score, if ain't good, then you can appear for the CRISIL apti test and yes if you wanna give it straight away, do not submit your CAT scores, doesn't matter. Any and every candidate is eligible for the apti test.
2. for test pattern goto CRISIL Certified Analyst Programme
3. Life after certification depends on you, your performance over two years, as fas as value of program is concerned, it will be immense with two biggest names of Industry with u. i.e. CRISIL & NITIE.

Hi shankla
in CCAP the CAT and XAT cutoffs are fairly high around 90 percentile. instead u can giv the CCAP exam if u r not so sure of ur performance in the other accepted scores.

Hey Saurabh your query is answered by Rizwan on the blog itself. I would suggest all of you in general to tick yes for the CCAP aptitude test. If you're selected thru ur CAT or XAT score u wont be forced to give the test again, even if u hv ticked yes for it in form. CRISIL wud nt spend extra money for the logistics of a candidate who doesn't need the test. Its obvious I think.
