Start working and appear for entrance exams next year or 2008 for full time programs. you have age on your side. correspondence programs only add degrees/diplomas and no value as such for freshers. neither will be taken seriously by employers.
after working for 2 years or so go for MBA FT. at that point you have some exec programs in PT mode also open to you.
search for correspondence threads in PG before posting.

her options are...
1. after a year or 2 she can look for a full time MBA in any of the better schools inc ISB( 1 yr course).
2. Part time/exec course from ICFAI, IMT, TAPMI or any other school is next best option.
3. Correspondence course shd be done only after 2-3 yrs exp. does not add much managerial value except for the deg/diploma.

Hi, This is harsh.
If you have enough time and money then you must go through regular MBA, but if u wish to do through correspondence then it is also a good option, rather doing nothing and just having an experirence.

you have to study and impliment in your job/profession, your profession should have a touch of what you are studying so far, then I think its valuable.

So, do not worry ..just go for it..

Remember If u wish to be real manager then " Think Like Manager, Act like Manger, Feel like Manager".

All the best.

As it`s clear from your post that u just had your degree and want to pursue MBA,however,it`s not clear at all that y u want to pursue correspondence MBA?,but ,if u ask my view regarding correspondence MBA,then my answer would be probably that correspondence MBA is just for those, who dont have the time to attend classes and for those ,who have paucity of financing of an his/her full time MBA or who have had already 3 to 5 years experiences and want to put height in his/her CV for better earning as well as for enhancing knowledge but as u r elobrating that u just did ur grduation so it`s preety unclouded that u r a fresher then why dont u go for full time MBA?,that will absolutely put great weigtage than your concering course and will also give u alitude for your better carreer. if the reasons might be those what i stated in my post that`s leading you to pursue correspndence MBA,then it`s all depend on your choice .Hence,it`s my duty to make you aware about the limitation of disatance learning.

Distance learning limitation

Distance learning is a choice for limited carrer switchers, because it pose limited interaction with fellow batchmates and alumni`s . correspondence learning does not proffer the networking opportunities on-site learning does, switching for distance learning a poor choice for career switchers those who are fresheres. It is also not a right choice for someone who work better in an interactive environment and have a skill to make applause presentation in gathering instead that will deliute his/her skill.

and hey,if u missed the CAT deadline then it`s must not be matter at all as XAT,CET are still under your choice.Go grab it.......

see anything is better than nothing

so if u dont have time then go for correspondence

but it seems like u have plenty of time left wid u
i think u can carry on wid full time MBA course
it ll be more valuable than anything else

Nothing compares to a full time MBA from a premier b-school....correspondence MBA comes no where near it !! Frankly speaking, just forget the idea of the correspondence thing.
