Friends,

I am doing PGDBA(Finance) from SCDL, I was just poking around in internet, looking for some information. The perception i have got (after reading some of the post in this site as well as in other related sites) that SCDL course material is inferior (in terms quality) to that of Icfai. Some people said that Icfai MBA course is more meticulous than that of SCDL. People also said that SCDL PGDBA course is too simple. As i have already taken admission and started the course i am little bit skeptical of the course i am doing.

I am not sure whether this skepticism is legitimate or not, so seeking advice of you people, please let me know your take on this.

sabya, as u ahve already taken admission, as well go ahead and complete scdl.
yes, icfai material is better than scdl, content and books etc and so on. try to get from some friend/library etc and go thru. work out the workbooks. that shd do.

Dear Sabya,

SCDL courses are best designed to suit working executives & house wives, hence they are bit simple but I guess it would be incorrect to address them inferior....I have done my PGDIB from Symbiosis and I can ensure that the course material are very much Comprehensive as for as the coverage of the subject is concerned...I agree with you that ICFAI courses are very tough...i have couple of friends who enrolled in ICFAI but non of them could complete the course...the courses are best fitted for the students who can afford to spend 4-5 hrs a day.....

so dont ponder over much...as such u have already enrolled your self .....so cheers...

Dear sabya...
dont u worry yar, SCDL is still best for distance learning.
course material doent make any difference here.
If you r doing a job....Go for GMAT & apply in ISB hyderabad.
U ll see the difference this diploma creates at the time of interview...
